Description:

Safe for the care recipient and easy on the carer's back
Turner is a practical tool for anyone who needs to perform daily lifting and turning movements when transferring persons from one place to another. Turner reduces the risk of stress injuries. Hardly anyone is now unaware of the fact that repeated heavy lifting and difficult turning movements can damage your back. The Turner gives you an ergonomically correct working posture when you are helping the care recipient to get up and sit down whilst transferring from one place to another. The Turner is a technical work aid, which simplifies daily tasks and reduces the risk of being afflicted by stress injuries.
Turner provides safety for both care recipient and staff
Transfers involving lifting and turning are often experienced as being unsafe by the care recipient. This unsafe-ness in turn creates instability and thus an incorrect working posture in the care staff. With the Turner, care recipients themselves can control their movements, and this is perceived as being calmer and more secure. Transferring from one place to another is easier when you can help each other.
Designed for relatively active care recipients
For this aid to function smoothly, care recipients must have stability in their legs and be able to stand up with support.
