Description:

This talking DAB digital radio alarm clock uses high quality speech to give access to all of its features. The digital radio speaks you through all stages of tuning and setting up, speaking the station names as well as the displayed DAB scrolling text. Automatic Volume Equalisation means that you do not have to adjust the volume as you change stations. Ten presets enable you to change quickly between your favourite programmes. Tap the unique Snooze Handle once to hear the time, twice to hear your alarm settings. An adjustable timer lets you go to sleep while the radio is playing and two independent alarms can wake you to a completely different station or an alarm tone if you prefer. The clock is fully automatic and updates itself from the DAB radio signal so you never have to set it or adjust it for summer or winter time. The radio has nine record timers connected to an optical output (This requires a recorder with an optical input that supports sync-record, such as a Minidisk or CD-R recorder.) Connections on the back of the case include a USB connector for updating the device over the internet, Optical Digital Out, Stereo Line Out, Headphone output, XT-1 Speaker output and Power Input. Size 210mm (Width) x 175mm (Height) x 110mm (Depth). Supplied with a 230v AC to 9v DC external power adaptor. The optional XT-1 speaker is styled to match the radio, with a matching solid wood cabinet, matching 3" full-range bass reflex ported drive unit. Supplied with a 3-metre cable this turns your radio into a full stereo unit.
